Views of the shack

I am in the process of relocating my hamshack to a new location with enough space to keep my T-368.  We are renovating our screened porch into a sun room (I call it the "T(ea) Room."  The latest picture is below.  There is still some paneling to add to the side of the desk and some cleanup and trim work to do, but most of the equipment is in place.

Here are some early pictures of the progress.  We still have to finish some trim and lighting, but it's getting close.

Here are picture looking back across the room before bring any furniture into the room.  The cloth and tassel taped to the window are some of the colors my wife has picked out to go in the room.

I need to cleanup and take new pictures.  Here is a  view from February 2000.  The R-390A has been recently repainted (black).

Here is my station as of late October, 1999.  The Collins R-390A is the newest addition to the shack.  Note that it has taken over the primary operating position.

Collins R-390A/URR

Collins manufactured under the 1955 contract.  All subchassis are Collins except for an EAC IF deck.

Here is my station before the R-390A, just after adding the Viking II with matching VFO in September 1999.

Here is an earlier view of my station in August 1999, before the Johnson gear and hence before the extra shelves.  Notice I still had some solid state gear in the shack here.
